Uncertainty of Life

Life is uncertain,
One can't deny.
At time a bed of roses,
Which is not a lie.
At times as sharp as the thorn,
It pricks you hard,
But teaches you a lesson,
and experience you gain.
For life is uncertain,
one can so say.

You never know when sadness prevails,
or with joy your heart shall wail.
Its unexpected news that one can say.
for we always hope for the best,
but not is it always.
Take life with a pinch of salt,
is an old saying in the book.
But can it be so always?

The mind boggles with these random questions,
And a poem is formed this way,
For neither can I nor you can say.
What will come our way.
For life is uncertain,
I can't deny any day.
