Valentine

Words fail me today,
to express what I have to say.
I find myself tongue-tied,
Locked in your eyesight.
I stand motionless,
Feel absolutely breathless.
Nervous as hell I think,
Oh please! stop with the wink.
Goosebumps all over my arm,
I am bowled over by your charm.

As dreamy as this seems to be,
In this moment all I see;
You across the table;
Glaring at me.
Me just blushing away to glory.

Dont know what sort of couple we make,
good or bad, its not my take,
but we make each other happy anyway.
Does it matter for goodness sake!

I could just go on and on,
you know how much I can talk!
Maybe you put a full stop to this,
With just a beautiful kiss.

Story of a Kiss

Its a bliss,
When we kiss.
Your lips that couple with mine,
Hands clasped together.

Then; your fingers,
brush against my cheek.
Your hands,
Wrapped around my waist.

Mine,
playful with your hair.

Its just a kiss,
Which now I miss.

A Happy New year

At Midnight struck the clock,
Dawned a new day, a new year was born.
With hopes and dreams of millions attached,
the fireworks lit up the empty sky patch.

Songs, screams and squeals of joy,
be old or child; no one is coy.
Its the start of the year everyone celebrates,
hoping to forget the past and start a new day.

Wishes and hugs, merry making and laughter;
The silent world is filled with sounds here after.
Soon the sun shall rise, shinning bright on the new day.
reminding one and all its a new start to make.

We take a moment to look at the past,
to think about the year that passed.
And then we drift to the year that arrives,
bringing with it a future we hope to survive.

Untitled

I look at you standing by the door,
You with that smile on your face,
With the warmth in your eye,
Looking at me....prying into my mind.

Trying to read my thoughts,you seem so lost.
I try to not disclose secrets deep,
For with your hold on me all you need is a peep
I try to distract but you don't react
I try to have a talk but you just want to take a walk

You say all you want to do is hold my hand,
Walk under the moonlight
See my face blush,
In the dark winter night.

Back from a break

Its been a while,
since I rhymed.
Its been a while,
since I wrote a line.
Its been a while,
since I poured my heart out.
But today,
I write this song.

Its been a while,
since I smiled at the sky.
Its been a while,
since I heard the leaves fly.
Its been a while,
since I heard the birds chirp.
But today,
I see a new world.

Its been a while,
since I sang out loud.
Its been a while,
since I laughed my heart out.
Its been a while,
I cried my self over nothing.
But today,
I feel alive again.

Its been a while,
since I felt the warmth.
Its been a while,
since I held hands on a walk.
Its been a while,
since I slept with dreams in my eyes.
Its been a while,
since I found joy in someone's smile.
But today,
I am with you, humming this song.

Looking through my lens

Looking through my lens,
I see a different world.
of bees and trees,
and the swaying leaves.
I see a light,
that leads my flight;
by my side;
every sight.

Looking through my lens,
I see a different world.
of high skies and clouds,
and the birds that fly along.
I see a scene,
that looks serene;
I capture in blink;
it shows on my screen.

Looking through my lens,
I see a different world.
of humans and animals,
and drama all in all.
I see pictures,
of thousand different kinds;
be humans or animals;
and emotions every type.

Looking through my lens,
I see a different world.
of me and the universe,
together on a tour.
I see the world with a new eye,
a new thought;
a new kind;
all stored in my drive.

I do...but I wont

I miss you,
Is what my heart says.
But I can't tell you,
You have gone far away.

I still remember you,
As fresh as the dew drop each day,
But I hope I don't again,
For you must be forgotten someday.

I still hear your voice,
that gave me goose bumps all the time,
But I must not,
For I must sleep tonight.

I still see your face,
Like the dawn in the dark day.
But I must close my eyes,
For you brought the darkness my way.

I walked away,
Still you catch up some way.
But I must run,
To see the light of the new day.
